At New York Comic Con, we scaled up to match the spectacle—showing up with not one but two booths. One was fully dedicated to the live stage, while the second centred on the Collection of Dreams Giveaway, inviting fans to curate and dream big. The live-stream programming became a show within the show, packed with celebrity guests, card-pack unboxings, and fan-first giveaways—all guided by a dynamic host who kept the crowd buzzing. The result was a seamless blend of commerce, culture, and content—cementing eBay as a cornerstone of fandom at one of the world’s largest conventions.

At the world’s largest sports trading card show, we tapped into the thrill of the hunt. Fans entered an immersive eBay space to curate their Collection of Dreams, witness live auctions right on the floor, and showcase their grails. The live-stream stage amplified the atmosphere with card-pack unboxings, expert commentary, celebrity appearances from sports and collectibles icons, and real-time giveaways—turning the floor into both a marketplace and a broadcast stage with eBay at the centre of it all.

Fans curated dream collections of their favorite games and collectibles, while interactive displays connected them with fellow players. The live-stream stage extended the excitement beyond the floor, combining unboxings, broadcasting auctions and surprise giveaways. By adapting the container to its audience, eBay’s presence felt authentic to the world of gaming—celebratory, playful, and endlessly customizable.

eBay Collectibles Road Show

Partnering with eBay, we designed a modular event experience that traveled to three of the nation’s biggest fan conventions—New York Comic Con, The National Sports Card Convention, and Gen Con—each celebrating a distinct collector culture. At the heart of every booth was the Collection of Dreams Giveaway, where fans curated their own dream lineup of cards or collectibles for a chance to win some of the most sought-after items in their fandom.


Alongside this interactive element, a dynamic live-stream stage featured celebrity guests, fan giveaways, and the thrill of card-pack unboxings—with a charismatic host keeping the energy high and eBay front and centre as the ultimate destination for collectors.
